Delta Powersports Fairbanks will celebrate women in the powersports community later this month with a special Women in Powersports Appreciation Day, highlighting connection, learning, and local entrepreneurship.
The event is scheduled for Friday, February 28, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will take place at Delta Powersports Fairbanks. Open to the public, the gathering aims to bring together women who ride, work in, or support the powersports industry across Interior Alaska.
Organizers say the event is designed as a space to connect, support, and learn, while also showcasing locally owned, women-led small businesses and vendors. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other women involved in powersports, learn more about available products and services, and support local entrepreneurs.
Women in Powersports Appreciation Day reflects a growing effort within Alaska’s outdoor and motorsports communities to recognize the contributions of women and create more inclusive spaces in traditionally male-dominated industries.
