Fairbanks residents are invited to celebrate the season of love with a unique after-hours pool event at Wescott Pool later this month.
The Sweetheart Swim will take place on Friday, February 20, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering a special “lights-out swim with music” experience. The themed evening is designed to give swimmers a fun and relaxed way to enjoy the pool in a festive atmosphere.
The event is hosted by Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation and is limited to the first 90 participants, making advance registration required. Organizers say the swim is suitable for community members looking for a creative Valentine’s-season activity.
