Travelers passing through Fairbanks International Airport who believe they may have lost a personal item are encouraged to report it promptly through the airport’s official lost-and-found system.
Airport officials say items left inside the terminal, on sidewalks, or in parking areas can be reported quickly and easily online via the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities website. Submitting a report helps staff track and return lost belongings more efficiently.
Officials also reminded passengers that items left on board an aircraft are handled directly by the airline, not the airport. Travelers who believe they left something on a plane should contact their airline as soon as possible for assistance.
