Dozens of mourners gathered Friday night at Sleepy Dog Coffee Shop to attend a vigil for missing man Tony Kronos. The candlelight gathering gave friends, family, and concerned residents space to remember Kronos and focus on his unresolved case.
Tony Kronos vanished on March 6, nearly three months ago, leaving loved ones searching for answers and desperate for any new information. Organizers of the vigil shared personal stories and heartfelt memories and offered support to those still grieving Kronos’s unexplained disappearance.
One of Kronos’s closest friends, Catlin Mobley, addressed the crowd with raw emotion and a call for continued community involvement. Mobley, who considers Kronos a brother, urged people to remain patient with law enforcement as the investigation progresses.
He emphasized the importance of allowing the FBI, Anchorage Police, and internal investigators time to collect solid evidence properly. Anchorage Police created a special tip line—907-786-8999—for anyone with credible leads about Kronos’s location or recent activity.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Anchorage Crime Stoppers, offering an alternate way to assist investigators discreetly. As attendees lit candles and held hands, the vigil for Tony Kronos carried a message of unity and hope. Kronos’s community refuses to let his story fade, standing firm in their demand for justice and the safe return of their friend.
