The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is inviting the public to its February Brown Bag lunchtime session, featuring a discussion on financial empowerment and coaching.
The virtual event will welcome Abby Miller, Financial Wellness Program Manager at the Cook Inlet Lending Center. Miller will explain what financial coaching looks like in practice and how the program supports long-term stability beyond simply obtaining a loan.
During the session, Miller will cover how financial coaches help individuals build confidence and competence with money, what topics can be reviewed during coaching sessions, and what next steps may look like for people preparing for financing and long-term financial security.
The February Brown Bag will take place on Tuesday, February 10, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) via Microsoft Teams. Those interested in attending can request an invitation by emailing karla.wright@anchorageak.gov or calling (907) 343-7778.
